Our story
Mercantile Antiques & Collectibles is a small-town antique mall in St. Joseph, Illinois, and that's how we like it.
Our booths are filled by a close-knit group of local vendors, many of whom have been with us for years. They know their stuff, they love the hunt, and they restock regularly, so there's always something new to see.
Mercantile has always been a place where people know your name, and we're committed to keeping it that way. Whether you're a serious collector, a first-time browser, or just passing through on I-74, stop in, take your time, and say hello.

Look for the RM tags
Wooden cubbies of vintage smalls, pewter and enamelware, crocks, and Ball jars. An old country kitchen you can shop.

Locked cases of vintage jewelry, coins, and pocketknives, plus porcelain, glassware, and cast iron. A little bit of everything.

Die-cast trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and farm toys for collectors of every age.

From the house
Glass bottles, old-time flavors, and the brands you thought were long gone. Root beers, colas, and fruit sodas from small bottlers, with brands dating back to 1884. Grab one while you shop, or mix up a carrier to take home. We sell by the case!
